The M2 GEN 5 mobile workstation delivers the best out-of-the-box Linux experience with the most powerful mobile hardware. PROCESSOR & MEMORY

Blaze through single- and multicore jobs like never before. Both the i9-14900HX (RTX 4070/4080/4090) and i9-13900HX (RTX 4060) CPUs feature 24 cores, 32 threads and 36 MB of Smart Cache. Combined with high-quality, 4800 MHz DDR5 RAM, these systems provide CPU performance few mobile or desktop systems can match. Geekbench tests show performance increases of 14% and 61% for single- and multi-core scores.[3]

The i9-14900HX “Raptor Lake Refresh” CPU was introduced in January 2024 for the RTX 4070/4080/4090 systems. This provides a bit more performance as power and thermals allow, especially in the larger 17.3" systems.
