View weather information with the Weather Widget.

Adding a Weather Widget, or any applet in Plasma, is easy. Widgets and applets are one of the things that makes Plasma unique to most other desktops. While this widget is built-in, there are many more made by other users in the KDE Store.
There are two methods, the latter of which is described in this Guided Solution:
Configure System Tray....Entries.Miscellaneous, click on Disabled next to Weather ReportAlways Shown.Apply, followed by OK.Configure Weather Report...Once set-up, this will become an easy at-a-glance way to see your current weather. You can click on it for more detailed information, such as your current forecast.
Right-click the chevron in the system tray, and click 'Configure System Tray...'.
Find 'Weather Report', and set it to be 'Always shown'.
